An amusing reminder on the risks of investing in films

Over the last few months I have seen and reviewed a few media investments. Most, though not all, are quite candid about the risks of investing in films. Indie Capital did some work that showed that almost half of films fail to recover their investment.

But its the real disasters that are the most fun – and The Guardian has an article which shows this. How about an opening weekend take of £7 for the latest Shia Labeouf offering? Or the Emma Watson film that only took £47 in total? A reminder that when things go badly they can go really badly!
